The Opportunity
A mission-driven employment discrimination law firm based in New York City, seeks a highly skilled, business-minded Employment Litigation Specialist to draft pre-suit correspondence in connection with a broad range of complex plaintiff-side cases. This is a fully remote long-term, temporary position. The hourly rate is $50-$55 plus benefits.
Primary Duties
A powerhouse boutique law firm specializes in pre-litigation advocacy, using aggressive, results-driven strategies to secure favorable outcomes for their clients. The successful Employment Litigation Specialist will have expertise in employment discrimination law and the ability to draft persuasive and impactful pre-suit litigation correspondence leading to favorable, high dollar settlements. You must be a true team player who can expertly digest facts, synthesize legal analysis and craft legally sound and compelling narratives.
Requirements
· J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing with New York State Bar
· 5–10 years of experience, with a focus on employment discrimination law
· Demonstrated success in drafting pre-suit litigation correspondence
· Deep understanding of federal and state discrimination laws, EEOC/Division and all other relevant agencies procedures, statutes of limitations and how to leverage the same to maximize case value
