A top client is hiring a driven, experienced Business Development Manager to grow with them! As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business by targeting large-scale events that need both AV and décor services. You’ll build relationships with corporate and social event planners, venues, and organizations that host multiple events annually.

As the Business Development Manager, you will:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on corporate, social, and large-scale events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and venues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, estimates, and presentations that align with client goals.
• Understand client needs and position Sight & Sound Productions as the premier solution for AV and décor services.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
• Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and revenue projections.
• Partner with project managers and production teams to ensure smooth handoff and exceptional execution for booked events.

To be successful in the role you must possess:

• Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales. Events, hospitality, rental, or AV industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
• Understanding of AV technology and event décor, along with a strong network of contacts with corporate and social event planners and venues, is a plus.
• Ideally located in a major metropolitan area in the wider Southeastern United States.
