Hueman has been engaged by a healthcare company to find a full-time Director of Revenue Cycle Management for their Richmond, VA or surrounding areas.
As a Director of Revenue Cycle Management, you will direct and coordinate all functions of the billing department to ensure maximization of cash flow. Additionally, you will review, design, and implement processes surrounding pricing, billing, third-party payer relationship, compliance, collections, and other financial analyses to ensure clinical revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized.
Job Requirements:

Manage relationships with payers and providers to generate high reimbursement rates and a low level of denials

Establish strong working relationships with end users and business partners

Manage multiple initiatives, identify and prioritize issues to meet aggressive times and organizational goals

Lead and coordinate end-to-end revenue cycle activities, including insurance verification, charge capture, billing, collections, and accounts receivable.

Maintain strict adherence to federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines.

Implement internal controls and audit mechanisms to ensure compliance and reduce financial risk.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to enhance cash flow, reduce days in accounts receivable, and minimize denials.

Design and execute data-driven strategies to improve revenue cycle efficiency and financial outcomes.

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing revenue cycle team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Partner with clinical, administrative, and IT departments to streamline workflows, improve patient financial experiences, and ensure alignment between clinical documentation and billing practices.
