Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking personable and media-savvy candidates to serve as Public Relations Specialists in Washington, DC. The Public Relations Specialist will act as a liaison between the organization and the public, fostering positive relationships with media outlets, government entities, local communities, and other public-interest groups.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
• Certification: None required (certifications in media relations or strategic communications are a plus)
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of media relations and public engagement strategies
  • Ability to represent the organization professionally in public forums
  • Experience with press releases, media outreach, and public messaging
  • Familiarity with digital communication platforms and social media

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the organization and the public, including media, government, and community groups
• Establish and maintain cordial relationships with news media, consumers, and public-interest organizations
• Promote the organization’s mission, programs, and initiatives through strategic communication
• Support public engagement efforts and represent the organization at community events
• Assist in developing and distributing press releases, newsletters, and public statements
• Monitor public perception and respond to inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
