Lead the development and execution of the Indirect Procurement strategy across the organization. Work closely with stakeholders and suppliers in the indirect sourcing process, including RFP/RFI/RFQ generation and evaluation, category analysis, supplier selection, continuity of supply and contract negotiation. Develop supply management strategies by which suppliers are evaluated, selected and managed in accordance with established guidelines and best practices (RFI/RFP/RFQ, Scorecards, performance metrics) Determine and drive alternate supply strategies to create cost savings and/or risk mitigation. Reduce and manage working capital by driving vendor payment terms and managing inventory within the target levels Focus on continuous improvement building supply chain excellence and best practices. Place and execute purchase orders as specified by the needs of the business, follow up and expediting orders to ensure satisfactory delivery. Verifies invoices against original orders. Maintains purchase order, invoice files and pricing. Perform all other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements of the Job: Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects. Knowledge of cost analysis practices. Ability to evaluate procurement bids in accordance with established criteria. Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed for interaction with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions. Strong Negotiating skills. Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments. Ability to prepare formal procurement documentation in compliance with Company business policies. Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
