Responsibilities:

Provide technical and engineering support to Project and Construction Managers.

Coordinate with PMO staff, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants, and College personnel.

Participate in—and occasionally lead—design and construction meetings; prepare meeting minutes.

Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, College standards, and DSA requirements.

Review and interpret plans, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.

Prepare project documentation, reports, procedures, guidelines, and board action requests.

Support weekly/monthly reporting, including status updates and photos.

Review, estimate, negotiate, and process change orders and field orders.

Administer construction and professional services contracts.

Manage contractors/consultants and review/approve invoices.
-
Identify project risks and assist with risk registers and mitigation strategies.

Facilitate resolution of design and construction issues.

Maintain project files (electronic and hard copy).
-
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

5–8 years of recent experience in project or construction roles.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (experience may substitute year-for-year).

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make sound decisions.

Experience with educational, DSA, central plant, or major public works projects. (preferred not required)

Familiarity with Proliance or similar PMIS systems.PE, CCM, or similar professional credential. (preferred not required)
Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $105,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)

- $90,000.00 Annually to $105,000.00 Annually
