What You’ll Do
You’ll lead with purpose and clarity to turn vision into results for scholars and staff.
As Principal, you will:

Provide instructional leadership that drives strong academic outcomes for all scholars

Build, coach, and retain a high-quality team of teachers and staff
-
Foster a positive, safe, joyful, and structured school culture grounded in high expectations

Use data to inform decisions, monitor progress, and support continuous improvement
-
Partner with families to build strong, trusting home–school relationships
-
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and charter-authorizer requirements
-
Oversee school operations, schedules, and resources effectively
-
Model professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to excellence

Required Qualifications
You’ll bring strong leadership experience and a proven record of improving student outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
-
Valid state administrative or principal certification (or eligibility)

Minimum of three (3) years of school leadership experience
-
Prior elementary teaching experience
-
Demonstrated success improving student outcomes
-
Commitment to Movement Schools’ mission and values
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in charter or choice-based settings is a plus, along with a strong track record of instructional coaching.

Experience leading or serving in a charter or choice-based school
-
Proven success coaching teachers and leading instructional improvement

Familiarity with data-driven instruction and standards-aligned curriculum

Compensation & Schedule
This full-time role aligns with the academic calendar and provides meaningful growth in a purpose-driven environment.-
Starting Salary: $100,000 (salary placement based on experience and role alignment)

Schedule: Follows the academic calendar with pre-scheduled summer responsibilities for planning and preparation

Additional Commitments: Occasional evenings or weekends for family engagement and school events
