As the Site Leader you will oversee daily operations, manage teams, and ensure that our business objectives are met efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, project management, and process improvement with experience working in a fast paced environment.
 
Headquartered in Tampa, FL, Diverse Logistics has grown into a nationwide 3PL powerhouse trusted for final-mile delivery and installation of big-and-bulky items like appliances, electronics, furniture, mattresses, and fitness equipment.  Our non-asset-based model gives us flexibility to scale fast, with over 500 local delivery teams and a rapidly expanding network of warehousing and cross-dock facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the environment is respectful, safe, and secure for our site employees and outsider visitors.
• Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency and achieve business goals.
• Management of all site activities to include receipt, inspection, repair, value added services, put away, storing of product, fulfillment, shipping, reverse logistics, and outbound delivery to the end user.
• Oversee business development initiatives to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Assist our senior team with managing profit and loss statements to ensure financial health and sustainability of operations.
• Supervise and lead teams across various departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability to execute all client and company requirements.
• Coordinate project management efforts to ensure timely completion of initiatives within budget constraints.
• Drive sales strategies to maximize revenue generation while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Track warehouse productivity to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Enforcement of all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in strategic planning with a focus on long-term business objectives.
• Strong development skills with a track record of identifying growth opportunities.
• Proficiency in understanding financial metrics.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities that inspire team members towards achieving common goals.
• Solid time management skills with experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to manage resources efficiently while ensuring quality outcomes.
• Strong sales acumen with the ability to develop effective sales strategies.
• Expertise in process improvement methodologies to streamline operations.
• Delivery, dispatching and route building experience to analyze for efficiency
• Fitness equipment distribution and installation management experience a plus!
