What You’ll Do:

·       Design, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment, packaging machinery, assembly line layouts, components, and production process using SOLIDWORKS.

·       Create and update 3D models, parts, assemblies, detailed drawings, system layouts, schematics, and equipment documentation.

·       Support both new requirement design and improvements to existing manufacturing equipment, with a focus on packaging lines and production efficiency.

·       Analyze product specifications, performance requirements, equipment capabilities, space limitations, cost, timing, and operational needs to determine feasible engineering solutions.

·       Partner with production, Maintenance, Operations, and Management teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve machine performance, safety, reliability, and output.

·       Lead and support engineering projects involving custom packaging line design, conveyor systems, 3D-printed parts, machine modifications, and process improvements.

·       Work with vendors on equipment designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and operational expectations

·       Develop, document, and implement new methods, procedures, and SOPs to improve manufacturing operations, reduce costs, and increase labor and material efficiency

·       Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles to identify and execute process improvements

·       Manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, including planning, design, troubleshooting, documentation, timelines, and cross-functional communication

·       Interact with Accupac customers as needed to support engineering discussions, project updates, technical requirements, and manufacturing solutions

·       Stay current on engineering, manufacturing, and packaging technology trends to support ongoing equipment and process improvements

·       Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, or equivalent relevant experience.

·       Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on SOLIDWORKS experience required, including parts, assemblies, drawings, and manufacturing-related design work.

·       Strong design experience in a manufacturing environment required. Experience designing, modifying, or improving packaging machinery, assembly lines, conveyor systems, machinery components, or related production equipment is strongly preferred.

·       Manufacturing Engineering background preferred, with exposure to packaging, consumer products, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, electronics, mechatronics, or similar production environments. Strong mechanical aptitude required, including the ability to understand how equipment, components, machinery, and assembly lines function in a real production setting.

·        Must be able to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues and partner effectively with Maintenance and Production teams.

·       Demonstrated project management experience required, including the ability to manage timelines, priorities, vendors, documentation, and cross-functional communication. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, SOP creation, or process improvement is strongly preferred.

·       Must be able to create, review, and interpret technical drawings, layouts, schematics, and engineering documentation.

·       Comfortable working with vendors, internal operations teams, maintenance teams, production teams, and customers. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Computer-Aided Design software required; expert-level SOLIDWORKS capability preferred. Strong communication skills required, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.

·       Must be able to work independently with minimal training and take ownership of engineering projects from design through implementation.

·       Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

·       Must be able to sit for most of the workday, walk or stand on concrete floors, bend, climb step stools, lift/carry up to 25 lbs, and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
