Custom Learning Designs has partnered with Hueman to find a Medical Director. This is a fully remote position that work EST hours. 

The Medical Director is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all scientific and medical content and staying abreast of current advances in the therapeutic areas for which he/she is responsible. The individual will provide guidance to internal writers and mentor them in the writing of the medical content. The director will also conduct client presentations and interact with clients to provide strategic direction and recommendations for execution of their project needs

Custom Learning Designs (CLD) is a leading provider of custom training solutions for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. At CLD, we support our customers in developing customized training for their commercial sales teams, medical teams (MSLs), patients, and physicians.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Ability to understand a medical topic in depth and apply that knowledge to creating high-quality medical content
• Review content for accuracy, appropriate use of references, and clarity of information
• Produce high-quality scientific writing and demonstrate fastidious attention to detail
• Provide direction to internal staff on the creation of well-designed and accurate content
• Ability to work under deadline pressures and juggle multiple projects
• Assist in proposal development and conduct client presentations and meetings, requiring up to 10% travel

Job Qualifications:  

• MD, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or related field with expertise in multiple therapeutic areas
• Familiarity with drug development and medical, legal, and regulatory review
• Computer literacy
