As a Project Manager at CLD, you will lead client engagements from project initiation through completion, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and with exceptional quality. You will combine project leadership, operational excellence, client partnership, and business insight to deliver outstanding learning and development solutions and support long-term client success.
About Custom Learning Designs
Custom Learning Designs (CLD) is a sales training partner that works with leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical companies to develop training and learning solutions for their commercial and medical teams. As a Project Manager, you will work cross-functionally with CLD teams and clients to lead complex engagements, develop effective project strategies, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards.
Job Requirements

Direct and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including project definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure

Lead high-value, large-scale, and highly complex projects involving multiple workstreams, accelerated timelines, co-promotes, and challenging client environments

Develop and execute project strategies that maximize efficiency, profitability, resource utilization, and client value

Serve as the primary project lead and build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional client service

Communicate effectively with clients, including facilitating difficult conversations and independently delivering complex or sensitive messages

Demonstrate confidence and expertise in CLD's project management methodology during client meetings

Manage project financials, scope, timelines, risks, and resource allocation to achieve project and business objectives

Coordinate effectively across CLD's cross-functional departments and provide clear direction and constructive feedback to writers throughout the development process

Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards

Demonstrate strong business acumen by understanding client business challenges and collaborating cross-functionally to develop effective solutions

Identify and resolve risks and issues while maintaining project timelines and quality

Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and operational excellence

Maintain strong communication and leadership throughout projects to support positive client feedback and successful delivery
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

Experience with timeline management software

Strong writing skills, including grammatical accuracy and the ability to communicate clearly

Fastidious attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work

Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and regulations related to research, clinical trials, ethical conduct, and promotional review processes

Experience with Veeva or other electronic referencing systems

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and schedules

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Understanding of Learning and Development is a plus
